Rusty R2D2

Hi Folks,
Just an update on the Rusty Bolt to R2D2 project:

We contacted Kent County Council Highways and were told that nothing can be done until a safety audit had been conducted (no surprise there). This unfortunately takes time and costs money (A few thousand) and unfortunately there is no money within their budget to get this done – it would have to be privately funded.

So if we’re to do this officially, sadly it doesn’t look as if we can do anything in time for the film.

However, we’re commented to this idea and would appeal to anyone who can help us get sponsorship to make this project happen. If this is the case, please email scott@hairyhand.co.uk
