Logo design: Cleaning industry: Sunshine Cleaners

Local start-up company Sunshine Cleaners asked me to design the logo for their cleaning company.

It was one of those time when a business name instantly gives you a creative idea for what you want to do.

My idea behind the logo design was to make the sun brand icon out of a duster. This would help the brand icon communicate the nature of the business when isolated from the logotype. I then chose a modern script font for the logotype to look like it had been hand-written in dust, I also felt this helped convey the friendly, local feel of the business.

This has to be one of my most favourite logos and goes to show that you can create great logos for big and small companies alike.
