Vector Illustration Ashford Borough Council

The story:
Vector Illustration and logo design for posters and leaflet showcasing a series of music events run by Ashford Borough Council in the summer of 2011.

With so many music events taking place in Ashford 2011, The council were looking for a logo and literature  to be designed that would visually encompass and unify all the events that where taking place.

My idea for the logo was to combine the sun and also a reference to music. This gave birth to the ‘Sun speaker’ graphic device which emitted sound waves from it’s centre.

With the logo approved I then designed and illustrated the leaflet to match the style of the logo, continuing to combine elements of nature and music.
