OOH: 96 Sheet Poster campaign

The story:
While working as an Art Director at JWT, I was briefed to create imagery for a Vodafone OOH 96 sheet poster campaign that would appear at Jo’burg Airport.

With headline and copy already provided I was tasked with creating images that reflected the ‘Away from home?’ message. My idea came from the thought that if you were ‘away from home,’ you were away from your natural environment. So my response was to create images based on displacing some of the ‘Big Five’ that are native to Jo’Burg.

After the client approved my scamps at the first presentation, I commissioned Adrian Johnson to create the final illustrations.
